2012 American P-Bass.

I've pretty much been a Stingray guy up to now, but I couldn't help myself when I saw this one listed up on Reverb. Pickup, knobs and pickguard swapped out by owner when he first purchased it.....otherwise all original. He had the original knobs and pickguard for me, but couldn't find the pickup.....but the Dimarzio DP-122 he swapped in sounds really good.

Definitely a closet find. Apparently the owner purchased it new and put less than 10 hours play time on it due to a neck injury (military) that he never fully recovered from.

The neck is amazing, and it weighs in at 7.8 pounds.

Thanks. I'm noticing a slight emphasis in bass and mids, with a mild roll off of highs on the DP122. Sounds great.

Yep. Feels and sounds like a turbocharged classic P pickup.
