Okay, so maybe I'm not dreaming big enough. Since the first time I ever picked up a bass, I've wanted a Warwick Corvette. Not a Fodera, or some other super expensive bass.... A Warwick Corvette.... It was literally my bucket list bass. Now, it's no longer a bucket list item. Meet the new (to me) 2008 Corvette $$. I just put a new set of NYXL on it last night, and it sounds amazing. I've already caught a lot of hell about trying those particular strings, but I was told they would sound amazing on a Warwick, and they do!

I was told by an audiophile bass player buddy of mine that he absolutely HATES NYXL strings, EXCEPT on a Warwick. He was right. They sound awesome! I don't think I'll chance them on my other bass, but they work great on the Corvette.

Thanks man. I've done a lot to my setup in the last month or so, but I like where I ended up. My "other" bass is a 2001 Japanese BTB1005. I thought I'd grow old and die with that bass..... Until I got the Warwick. I still think the BTB sounds good, but..... It's not the Warwick..... lol
Yeah, thought my '01 '62 AVRI Jazz was the one until I got my hands on my '07 G&L L-2000. By the way, I run a GK 1001 RBII with a 4x10 NEO cab.
