NBM: Fender 60s Roadworn Jazz

Yo! It's new bass month. Or maybe 2 months...dunno but I somewhat recently picked this one up and realized I hadn't shared the joy. Even by TB standards, these seem to get some serious love, and I'm now a believer. Feels amazingly broken in and looks great. Plays butttery with great tone. I stuck the ramp on as an experiment, it's OK I guess.

Thanks for sharing - I enjoyed mine. Ended trading it straight up for an ASAT that was on my wish list forever but will probably be getting another. What strings did you end up using on yours?

What year and model (if any) is that? It's nice. My only jazz is a Squire vm 70 but loving it. It's interesting. I have some actives and some passives but the vm jazz sounds as good as some of my active basses.

great bass...only one in my area is the pink one......can't do that color

A Roadworn Jazz was my first "serious" bass! Found one at a pawn shop listed at $350 because they thought it was a standard MIM. My eyes bugged out at that but I kept my cool and gave them the ol' "well, some paint is missing and it's got screw holes in it..." and ended up paying $250. I no longer have the bass but I still feel guilty about that one.
