NCD - Barefaced just arrived!

I've been on the fence for a very long time, pulled the trigger a few months ago and my new Super Compact T is finally here. Loving it in my living room, taking it to a gig tonight, can't wait!

Thanks to @JohnnyBottom for getting my GAS for a Barefeced going I was done after hearing your Super Mini, when I picked it up I knew this day was coming

I almost have enough to pull the trigger and get me a Barefaced Cab. I don't even have an amp head yet...!

Looks so awesome man, enjoy, these little rigs of doom are amazing! So helpful for a small car and also when you got an Upright or a lot of basses, or got to pick up your bandmate haha!

I'm thinking of going with the Super Twin but I have consider the Super Compact but I know I may be playing in some loud groups, but I'm gonna email Alex when the money is ready to be spent!

Please share how your gig goes! I might just get both one for small venues and the Twin for everything else!

Expecting a Gig report!

All I can say is wow and I'm really happy with the cab! My usual rig is a Mesa D800+ > Mesa Subway 115 + 112 which has been my goto for about 7 years so I know it well. I was curious how the barefaced would sound with my D800+ in a live setting and I've got to say it was awesome.

I'm not the best at describing speaker characteristics but I'll give it a go. It was a smaller room where I'd usually play a 2x10, 4 piece band. The cab with my D800+ was way more than enough for the space, but what I noticed the most was how natural and present it sounded. It took about an hour for the speaker to loosen up/break in (I had only played it briefly at home after it was delivered) and by the second set I felt like it had gotten even more organic.

Alex calls it "honest sound, fat but controlled lows" and that's a pretty good way to describe it. I had the tweeter turned way down, on the amp I turned up the HPF a bit, bass was flat, bumped the low mids and high mids a little, cut the treble slightly and left it alone for the rest of the night. That's my usual setting for that amp but sometimes I fiddle with it during a set because things don't sound quite balanced. Not the case last night. In hindsight I think I could have done without the tweeter but having it on very slightly did add something I liked, especially when I used a pick.

I'm looking forward to taking it to different rooms with and without PA support and see how it does, can't wait!

Edit - last night's setup. It's on top of a sub that wasn't being used but I like to put my speaker there when I play the room

One of my guitarists in my band carpools with me. I put my One10T and One10 in the trunk with my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2 along with my gig bag, two bass stands. My basses and his equipment go on the back seat.
