I was recently looking for an upgrade to my band practice combo (Genz Intro 50) and came across a local listing for a Fender Bassman 150. I knew that they had been discontinued for some time, and most that I had come across in the past were fairly beat up, but the power rating was ideal and the seller happened to be coming to my area the next day.
I agreed to meet up and all I had to go by up to that point was a small pic and some assurance that it was in good shape. To my delight it was in almost new condition, with owner's manual! And the best part is that he only wanted $135 for it! Needless to say, I am very happy with my new find, and it sounds fantastic. A very versatile and well-built combo - highly recommended!
