NDB: Creamy Orange fretless jazz

So I picked up a loaded body and a fretless neck in the TB classifieds. I plan to finish the headstock to match the body but I put it together first last night to hear it, lovin' the lipstick pups! It's passive and I'll drop a pre in it as some point. I also think I need to shim the neck a little, but this is going to be a feel/tone monster for sure. The DR Neon Orange strings are for fun only, at some point I'll change 'em out for TI flats.

Tone is such a personal thing, I've been on a quest for decades and mine changes depending on the tune or how I feel that day or even just what I happen to have closest to my hand sometimes. Thanks for the listen!
