Neck/Body switch?

I have an Aerodyne Special p bass that I like the neck on a lot, hate the body and the front edge.

my question is would the neck fit on a MiM p bass body?

IMO, the j and p necks are interchangeable. Tele bass p’s aren’t though

I've heard people say that P and Jazz basses have interchangeable necks if they are part of the same line from the same factory, but the two you mention are not, so I don't know how confident I would be that the neck would fit perfectly.
