Neck Integrity

I've got this old Greco.
I love it, it plays nicely.
but I question the integrity of the neck

Anyone have experience with these old Japanese stripe necks?
Things I should worry about/ avoid doing?
Or should I just play it and not worry?

Looks like a bunch of maple strips compressed together.

I imagine it's much stronger than your average quarter-sawn maple neck

I'd play it. No need to worry about it until it's actually a problem.

Given that it's likely 30 years old & has not exploded, I'd guess it's not about to.

As a reference, look at a Kubicki neck - many many many thin pieces laminated together - never had an issue with stability on the one I used to have, nor have I heard of such issues from anyone else.

The tuners are garbage, anyone know of a good replacement set?
