Neck project

I have bass neck (with keys) and bridge.
Both from G & L Tribute L-2500 (5 strings).
I want to buy a body to build backup bass.

Where would I get body and pickups?
I would prefer used to save on costs of that project.
Can I use an aftermarket Fender body?
(5 neck screw holes)

For new parts, there are several options. Warmoth, USA Guitars, Mighty Mite, Carvin, Allparts and probably many others. For used stuff, keep checking the classifieds here and perhaps ebay and craigslist. There are some deals to be had, however, in my experience, I always end up spending more than I want to! Good luck!
