uh oh. or, ruh row. Sounds like what the Devi Ever Ruiner wanted to be when it grew up.
I think in the end the Aftershock may win out. I've listened to so many demos of it and it just seems to have it and then some. It almost seems like it could double as a general preamp as well.
The only OD/Distortion box I’ve seen recently that has piqued my interest is the Lounsberry Rupert OD. It nails a sound I’ve heard in my head but never found a box for until I heard this pedal. Last time I got close to that sound was with a 4001 and a new set of Rotosound 66s going into my old Acoustic 360 stack back in the ‘70s. Gorgeous tone that I’m debating pulling the trigger on the Rupert to get. But I’m mostly prog and classic rock so I don’t know if it’d be aggressive enough for what you’re looking to do.
