Need Gibson G3 Dimensions

I am building a custom bass guitar soon, from scratch. I am going to be replicating a Gibson G3

I have designed a template for the body. only problem is I don't know the exact dimensions of the Body. All i've gathered from online is that it is an 1" 1/4 thick. Here is the template so far. Created it by using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I traced a large image of a Gibson G3 and expanded it from there.

I cannot find the dimension or schematics or even a template ANYWHERE online. I emailed Gibson but I doubt they will reply. It's a very large bass. As pictured below.

So my question for all of you out there. Anyone have one of these that you could measure for me? anyone know the dimensions or where I could find them?

I measured 37.5 cm across the widest part of the body, 24 cm for the thinnest, and about 28.25 cm across the horns, but I think I used the widest point on the lower horn to the equivalent side on the upper horn (their peaks don't align). Not sure now and I just put the bass away. Hope that helps.

I drew the template you designed (on a large paper obviously :) ). I'm doing exactly the same bass, and 3 ripper basses (2 gibson style and one smaller body version, junior ripper) anyway i just wanted to know how far along have you come with your project. Images? best of luck

How/ where can I geht a shake with exact measures oder a Ripper body. I am searching for a while for an Epi or Gibson but they are rare. So I want to build one. Any ideas?

You're measurements are correct. Fly guitars has the body length wrong (i've been drawing my own body template). Width is subjective but you're not that far off. Depth is correct and you're length is right. No sweat about your G3.

Lower body width: 14.5 inches
Upper body Width: 11.25 inches
Depth: 1.5 inches
Length: 20.5 inches
