Need help in choosing a new bass cab

Hey!
Not long ago I started playing bass, I got some okay gigging gear, but unfortunately I had to sell my Warwick 410 Pro bass cab. I didn't like it really much sound-wise anyway, I thought it was too thin sounding and I always lowered the tweeters. Now I'm in the search of a new bass cab, but I can't seem to find a lot of info regarding sizes, speakers, etc., and I'm not really experienced.
I'm not really sure if I should go for a 410 or a 212 or whatever other size. I wouldn't go for a 8 speaker cab due to it being way too big to carry around to gigs.

My gear consists of:
Fender MIM P bass, stock pickups
Ampeg PF-500 head
Boss NS-2
Boss TU-3
Darkglass Microtubes X7

On the Darkglass I like to leave the fatness of lows and distort mostly the highs.
What I'm looking to get out of my rig is a satisfactory fat and full, distorted tone, I know that my rig isn't professional, but I have to live with it.

I play Hardcore Punk in Standard D tuning, and I doubt that I'll ever go lower than that.

I'd like to know if somebody has any experience with a similar rig, and if I could get advice on some cabs that I should check out.

What's your max budget?

I really don't have a set budget, but I like "bang for the buck" stuff. If an Ampeg SVT cab is really the best of the best and fits me perfectly, I guess I'd try and find a used one for a good bargain, or at least get the closest sounding one there is. Surely though I wouldn't spend a ton of money on something, considering the price of my amp/bass etc.

A pair of 8 ohm 112 or 115 cabinets is a very flexible way to go.

I'm a former 410 user. Never looked back. They sound good from directly
in front of the cab. If you get off axis, they sound pretty muddy due to their directional midrange response.

I like 115, 212, or even 215 when needed. A pair of 210 stacked vertically is good, too.
