Need help selecting preamp and how to wire, not much time

So for fretless 4 string build, i was going to use a Iby SRX pup for the neck and an EMG MMTW for the brigde. Sadly i dont have much time to finish this project and just learned that the EMG will take about 2 months give or take to order and arrive So i am thinking about getting another SRX pup (passive) with delivery in no time at all, and wacking in an active/ passive preamp. Just dont know any good ones that would suit this thing. I am wondering if anyone can help with this?
Im wanting something with active 9v-18v/passive changing and Bass, mid, treb balance if possible. Once decided on the one i want i would also need a wiring diagram if possible. Time is very short and so is money unfortunatly, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Bart preamps are excellent.

lol cheers mate... but theres only one way to find out. Although i have heard that the stock SRX pups are quite good. The SRX itself is an excellent bass except for the preamp in that, or at least that what ive heard... mostly from TB...
