Need help wiring PJ bass

I have this cheap Glarry PJ bass I decided to upgrade the hardware of recently. But while pulling the knobs off one was stuck so tight it ripped the pot stem out halfway and broke it. Now I could just rewire a new pot the same way but that's boring and I don't like Glarry's wiring.

Anyway my question

Can someone help me with finding or making a wiring diagram? I want 1 volume, 1 tone, a 3 way Gibson style pickup selector, and a 2 position DPDT switch for series/parallel on just the precision pickups.

I found some wiring diagrams that kinda help but I get confused when I get to the pickup selector (diagram has a 3 position 6 pin DPDT and I have a Gibson style one).

I could switch the the DPDT but don't wanna, I'd like to use the Gibson style switch because of the color scheme of the bass.

I would also appreciate if I was explained what does what in the wiring and why/how it does that. I have very limited knowledge with electronics like this but would rather be taught than just thrown the answer.

This is the closest you're going to get:

2 Humbuckers/3-Way Toggle Switch/1 Volume/1 Tone/Series Parallel

Yes, it's a guitar diagram but it will work for bass too. Just ignore the switch for the bridge pickup and connect the J pickup's "hot" wire directly to the outer terminal of the pickup switch. I would advise you to not bother with the series/parallel switch for the P pickup, because the two sounds are very similar, but with the parallel output is less output and slightly more treble. Great if you want to make your bass tone quieter and thinner.

I have a passive harness that's really close to what you're asking for; 3-way pickup switch/series-parallel switch/stacked volume-tone. Would it be of any help to send you a bunch of pics before I wire it up? Here's the harness in question;

I actually forgot I posted this here and wound up finding a diagram that worked really well for my bass, just had to take a few guesses with the pickup selector area that turned out right. I'll attach the diagram I found below. The only problem I had with it was just a tiny bit of copper wire making a very tiny connection I could barely see but once I found it the bass started singing again. I'm honestly still surprised I got it wired right.
