What type of speakon jack do I need to connect an Ampeg SVT4 Pro Head to a SVT810E Cabinet. I am trying to run this in mono bridge mode. The owners manual states that "it should be wired for +1 (positive) and +2 (negative) on the amp end" and the cabinet should be wired for +1 (positive) and -1 (negative). I really have no idea what they are talking about and am having trouble finding anything that meets the +1 +2 requirements for the head. Also, do I need a special cable to connect these. I really appreciate any help anyone can provide.

You don't need a special cable although I'm told Ampeg makes them.
But the easiest way is to buy a 12 gauge 3 to 5 foot speakon to speakon cable. Make sure it has the four conductor plugs (usually has NL4 somewhere on the plug). The four terminals inside the plug are numbered -1,+1,-2, and +2. These cables are almost always wired -1 and +1 at each end. Take the connector apart (it unscrews) at one end and you will see the four connectors. The numbers are stamped into the body of the plug, and can be a little hard to read. Move the wire that is screwed into the -1 terminal and move it to the +2 terminal.
So now you have a cable that is -1 and +1 at one end and +1 and +2 at the other. Reassemble the connector and MARK IT so you 'll know which end has been modified. The modified end MUST ALWAYS be plugged into the amp end or the cable will not work at all. You won't damage anything if it's reversed, but you'll get no sound at all.
