Have owned a made in japan fender p, for about two years now. Love the bass, but can't seem to find much info, and as an avid ocd bass player, would LOVE it if I could find some old info. Product spec sheets, magazine adds or anything of the sort to stick to the outside of the case (even if reproduction) to give it a tad more class.
My bass is a cream color, and am also curious about original pickguard color. Mine is black, but that doesn't seem like fender's style. I would figure it to be tortoise on a cream bass.
