Need leight weight short scale help

Hi!
Really need your help!
I am looking for a bass that will meet the following criteria:
* Light weight
* Short distance between the frets, preferably short scale
* No neckdive or other balance problem
* Price of up to $ 200 (new or used)

Among other things, I have tried Epiphone EB-O (neckdive) and Ibanez TMB30-BK Talman (thick fretboard) without finding the right one.
The bass will be used in a hard rock band and I want a look that matches the music (which both Epiphone EB-O and Ibanez TMB30-BK Talman have).
Another alternative is Squier ss jaguar which matches most criteria but is difficult to find here in Sweden.
Extremely grateful for your help on what to look for, I'm stucked...

My vote would be the Squier SS Jaguar, but it's true they are getting harder to find.
I don't think you could go wrong with a Bronco.

I have two, heavily modded, because I like the feel of the neck.
I also have an EB0 (neckdive is a non-issue), and a SS Jag.

I can get a used one for 150 dollars so it's a possible one.

Indeed, the Mikro neck is very thin and shallow. There is no neck-dive. It is light-weight, comfortable and has a remarkable resonance for such a little bass. The Talman is a completely different animal.

Have you played an EB0 with neckdive or just read about it?
Use a wide strap and problem solve, at least for me.
Others have gone with lighter tuners to cure nk-dv.

Squier SS Jaguar is discontinued, hence difficult to find.
The Squier Bronco fits the bill, but I strongly recommend a pickup swap.
Get a black one, make your own nasty pickguard and it will be fine looking in the hard rock genre.
But feel and sound are more important than looks in my book.

I enjoy the look on people's faces when I'm playing hard rock/metal with a violin style bass (mine's a Rogue VB100, but everyone has their favorite make/model). I prevent neck dive by attaching the strap behind the nut instead of at the strap button on the heel of the neck. Works well enough.

You might also try a Dean EVO XM bass if a violin bass won't cut it for you.

Another vote for Bronco - I replaced the pickup. I have only played one SG and it has severe neck dive and is fairly heavy.

Yes. That appears to be the current model.

The tuners are different than mine. And looks like the neck volume knob was replaced.
