So here's my current situation: I Still have my london city jazz and i'm still in love. But she got some competition.
yesterday, I was over at my cousins house for the first rehearsal of my new band. When I walked into the rehearselroom, lightning struck me. I saw an old love again. The first bass I ever played, a squier with EMGs on it from the 70's or 80's, was standing there on a little stand that was about to break. Somewhat later in the rehearsal I picked it up and started playing a bit with it. This only made me realise how much I miss it.
When i heard the sound of it through my amp, I was completly blown away. And that made me thinking: Why ? Is it because it's old and just a good bass or because It has EMGs ? what do you guys think ?
anyway, next tuesday It's my birthday and I'm having a family party next saturday. And knowing my family, they will probably give me money and say:"here, so you can buy somthing you actually like
" So I either I'll have enough money to either :
a) buy the squier from my uncle
b) buy some EMGs for my jazz
what do you think I should do ?
