how do i go about doing so?

Ok, now I understand what this is for. I suggest some sort of adapter. Or maybe a regular powerbar for plugging your pedals into.

well the pedalboard has a power strip on it....or in it rather, but the reason for this, i dont want any cables dangeling off of the pedalboard because its a case also so when i take it out for transport, i cant have cables dangling

so what i want to do is be able to plug a power cable into the board, just like on the back of an amp does that make sense?

Those cables aren't really meant to be extended - you're supposed to buy a longer one.
They're meant to go directly from AC wall to load.

I've had the same problem as you before... ;)

Nah, he's trying to make a 'pro' looking connection on his box... I think.

To cover your prongs, you might want to get a small project box from Radio Shack or something so you don't have exposed wires when you're done.
