Need some input/advice on a Fender PBass.

Hi all...

I came across a Fender Precision that I am interested in trading my 2011 American Standard PBass for but I wanted to get some opinions on it first.
Basically, its a Precision but it has the PJ config on it which leads me to believe it's the deluxe model but it doesn't have a "D" at the beginning of the serial number... It starts with a Z106** which looks like a 2001 model.
Now... I have been told the PJ config is original, and the bass is indeed a stringthrough and it has the normal American Standard tuning keys. So... After all that, my question is; could this be an American Standard or something else? I wasn' t aware Fender made PJ models in 2001 that weren't the deluxe model.. Any information and opinions are welcome :)

If you have the whole serial number, you might be able to have it verified by someone at Fender Customer Service.
