So I got some music from my director finally yesterday.
It's some fun looking pieces.
The list is as follows;
:A chorus for Delores
:Sweet Lucy Brown
:Cute
:Birdland

That's all she sent me!
I called her to thank her and got her voice mail, so I figure I'll call her back in a few and ask for more or if there is a time when we can meet to look at the real book and discuss any up coming set lists.
But for now I think this is a pretty good start and I'm super syked to see birdland on the list,
I'm going to have a lot of fun with that one.

Get used to walking on m7b5 and full-diminished chords. And remember, the second chord in Take the A Train is a 7b5 chord (D7b5 in most charts I've seen...that is, a V of V chord that has a major 3rd, flat 5, and dominant seven).
