Well hello everyone, I'm new to the forums and one of the main reasons I joined TalkBass was because I need some help finding a good bass to start with.
I'm on a budget but it isn't EXTREMELY tight.
I can probably go as far as $350 for a bass (Mainly because the amp Ive ordered is $349.95
). Oh and I'm doing my shopping on Musicians Friend (because I have platinum payments) so if any of you have some time to kill cause to see what you can find???
I'm looking for the best bang for my buck, Something 4-string and also something that I can slap without getting annoying buzz, A nice thin/fast neck would be awesome too.
Now as far as looks that doesn't really matter to me, I just want something that I can use for at least a year before my skills get highly limited from it.
All help would be greatly appreciated. I just figured I'd ask some of the pro's for a little insight.
