Neotech Mega Bass Strap - Am I Missing Something?

Hi there,

I just received a newly purchased Neotech Mega Bass Strap, but I'm a bit confused. I have it set to the highest height, and my bass is still on my belt-region. I prefer to have bass just a bit above my belly, and it's currently nowhere near there.

Am I missing something? My friend and I have both been going at this for 30 mins, and all the reviews have said the strap goes higher than most, especially for shorter people (like myself). So what gives?

The picture provided with the strap even shows the strap on a bass, MUCH higher than mine can go. I'm a bit confused.

An ideas?

There are two types of Neotech straps, you got the long one. Also, the neoprene straps stretch out after a while so even in the shortest range they get about an inch longer after use.

Someone even said at the longest setting, it's halfway up their chest. Which again is why I feel like I'm missing something...
