Neve RNDI Speaker recording DI?

Hi guys,

Im trying to use my Guitar with my Neve RNDI like this video. I know a lot of you use this RNDI for bass, I do too and its great.

I am yet to try using its "Speaker" function though.

Im not fully sure how to set it up with cables etc, would really appreciate any help as I dont want to blow up anything!

Thanks

Hey thanks for the reply!

I am still a bit confused on how to use it. Maybe my Amp doesnt have the correct ports? There are no ports on the back of it?

I am trying to hook my Guitar to the RNDI to get the best signal. Currently I use = Guitar into Input on Amp, and Headphones out to Audio interface.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks!

You need a seperate amp and cab to use the RNDI Speaker function. You can't use your combo. I'd use the RNDI -> USB Interface with an Amp Simulator on the computer.

I had used many Amp Simulators but I honestly prefer the Headphone Out of my Amp as I mainly play Clean sounds.

Would Amp headphone out into IN on the RNDI on Instrument mode make any difference, or what would be the best way I could use my Amp with the RNDI?

Thanks
