Hi all, I am looking for new strings for my Ibanez SR405QM 5-String. So far I've been using rounds on all my basses, but switched to D'Addario half rounds on my GSR190 and will be putting Rotosound 77s on my jazz bass this coming week. My question is, what string would give a good sound on the 405qm, given the mahogany body and pickups it already has a deep tone that I love? I was thinking about trying the Rotosound 77s in the 5-string set and have read good reviews of the DR strings. Currently have the "old" fender 7250-5ML on. Any suggestions?
