New 5-string, suggestions?

I'm going to buy a new 5-string bass. I have a Yamaha RBX765A, and I think that bass is very easy to play. I want one that is easy to play, but I need help because I have to buy it over the internet. I also want it to have this kind of vintage look: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. I was hoping to get one for under $2000. What's the best, easiest to play, vintage looking bass out there?

The Joe Osborn is an excellent example, and within your range if you go with the Skyline model.

The list of makers offering a J-rendering is volumes long, and there are scores of good ones. I hate to recommend a music store without being compensated, but I will say that basscentral's interface makes it easy to jump from one maker to another and compare their designs and prices.
