I like how it looks. Maple and swamp ash are white woods, so I'm going to put some contrast between these woods. 2 pieces of wenge will make a beautiful back and will add more mid frequencies

Agree. It have the best of these worlds: color and figure... and it is hard like granite!!!
Top is glued and cut to final shape. I have almost all the piezes of the puzzle... next step, the fingerboard! 
Nice woods there. Really. And design. And workmanship. Holy crap! If you put the same lacquer job on these as the previous ones, they'll just kill.

This top will be around 6mm when done. Not too thick, because the sound that we are looking for is the maple + wenge + swamp ash. And fingerboard's Ebony gaboon, too.

And I've found I am allergic to padauk dust and fumes
Yeah, padouk is pretty nasty to work with, I 'm just tired to have alergies because the padouk and other woods.
The best solution is to make the best dust collector system possible, to eliminate the dust directly from the machine. Then, a very good air cleaner help a lot with the most fine dust that flies in the workshop.
That's (partly) why I love ash so much: apart from being great tonewood, it produces almost no small particles, dosn't float in the air (it's heavy!) and generally doesn't cause allergies at all!!!
