Double Bass New A and E strings

Hello,
I have on my bass G ans D Pirastro Chorda Carlos Henriquez and A and E Evah Pirazzi Light since 4 years.
Now I want to play a full gut set. What do you suggest?
To order only the E and A Chorda CH or a full set? I like very much G and D Chorda CH (maybe the D speaks not so well but I know is a common problem with gut D) so the idea is to match them with the A and E same set.
Please let me know yor thoughts.

If you've had the chordas G/D on for 4 years I would get the whole set, or try the gut Pirazzi Gold slaps. Someone said they were using Chordas (or chord-like strings) for the plain gut. I have no actual experience with them.
Pirastro Gold is a long discontinued set of plain and wound gut strings with a bit higher tension for gut.
You might mean the EP Slaps which come with lower tension plain gut or wound synthetics for the G and D.

Some dealers are calling (I assume with Pirastro's permission) the Slap strings "Gold" or "Gold/Slap" to encourage non-slap players to use them. For example:

I didn’t know that.
Since I live in Europe I haven’t ordered anything from the Gollihurs yet and not have a look there for something special not more often than once a year.

But I don’t think that rebranding them with a name that existed previously for a very different string from the same string company is a good idea.

i'd consider just doing it one string at a time. i would look for a wrapped gut of some sort for the A, then decide if you really need a gut E. Finding a gut A that speaks well is hard enough, but finding a gut E that speaks is even harder.
