New Aerodynes ?

I live in Australia where the black Aerodynes without pickguards are still available, but I have gas for a red one.
On ebay there are Japanese businesses selling used & apparently new coloured aero's.

Do they still sell new ones in Japan? Are these businesses safe to buy from?

I would love a red Jazz with P&J pickups, with the pickguard.

I already have other black basses. buying another is madness!

I would love to have one. I played an Aerodyne Strat one time and it was so sweet.

Yes, they are still in full production in Japan. The only one that exports to the US is the black one with the strat jack, while the rest ar for Japan.

Ishibashi is a good source but there are several reputable sellers on eBay you can order from to Australia.

I, too, have heard good things about Ishibashi. Check out the Aerodyne Club, Gregor. You may find more first-hand accounts.

By the way, that model is at the top of my GAS-list as well, "o' Ye of Discerning Taste"!

There is a used one on ebay now, from one of the known sellers... dark metallic red non-export Aero Jazz.

Thanks a lot guys. Would there be issues with voltage? In Australia we use 240 volts. Dunno what Japan uses.
Anything to be concerned about? Yeah that red one looks nice.
