I can see how, at first glance, you hear Zack screaming and cussing and think to yourself "Meh, this guy sucks. He's just another screamapillar." But a lot of the lyrics (not all) are actually pretty well-crafted.

The answer to the OP question is that no one knows.
At some point I think it was Tom that said they work on some new material but then Zack denied it.

Honestly I think that they have left a big gap that no other band was able to fill neither musically or politically and god knows there were people that tried. As a matter of fact the gap was so big it almost became a niche that even Eminem(eeeeeeekkkkk) tried to fill.

I personally really liked them for all they did and I always liked Zack as well. I really don't understand why they get so much hate, especially Zack. I mean they did Audioslave and everybody went on to say that this was even worse and that the music was for middle aged man driving the trucks to shopping or something. I also loved Audioslave for what it was(maybe the last record not that much).

However the fact that I am not american may have something to do with this. No offense intended but were I come from music and politics did mix pretty well and for a good cause that was even successful in the end.

While I like the individual musicians in RATM, I'm not a big fan of Irvine High school grad, Zack. Their 'rage' is pretty much a joke now, a remnant of what they used to be when I saw the young version of themselves in Tijuana.

Those shows in TJ sure are something else, music shows that is.
