Picked this up on Friday & been playing around with it ever since, but still haven't actually tried all the presets.

Won't get around to really trying the effects until the expression pedal that I ordered arrives.

In my mind I was going to bring it home & compare it to my Rumble 40 (non-Studio), but as soon as I sat down & started really playing it here at home I knew there was just no way the "regular" Rumble can pull off some of these models.

Some are pretty raw-sounding, almost like a tube amp.
It sounds better with guitar than my old Rumble as well, probably due to the horn tweeter.

The looper works well, but I haven't determined its limit yet.

Having the Effects loop is a welcome addition, previously I'd been using a BigShot ABY to split my signal, because otherwise it was noisy. (ground loop)

I'd been trying these sporadically wherever I came across them & I kept telling myself I wasn't that interested. Trying to tell myself that my Rumble 40 could pull it off, LOL!

Sort of wish I'd bought it sooner, but I did get it at a discount for Black Friday.

I'm still in denial, like you were. I've been there since the Stage & Studio were announced very early this year. (sigh)

I keep forgetting that the regular Rumble 40 doesn't have an FX loop. Well, now you have one In Stereo! And the XLR OutS? Not limited to post EQ/post volume anymore! Now a pre AND a post, by default, or switchable to StErEo! Even level adjustable, or so I've read.

Yeah, I'm a big fan. But I blame the reliability of the Studio's grandfather, my B-DEC 30, for my not having one. If the B-DEC would just trip, even a tiny bit, I'd replace it with a Studio in a heartbeat!

Congratulations, KBD. I SO jelly. I suspected you were headed for this reckoning. I know I am, too, someday. ;)

Jealous? Who said anything about jealous? I'm not jealous! I never said I was jealous. I am SO not jealous, believe you me!

Nor am I envious. Not envious, at all. Hoo, boy, lemme tell you, how NOT envious I am. I am the most not envious person you ever met. No, sir-ee, not a bit envious in the world. Covetous, . . . . maybe, . . . just a smidge. But definitely not jealous or envious. No way. Uh uh. No how.

But I sure wish I had a Rumble Studio 40.

Let us know how that works. I am have been thinking of getting one as well. Mosty for Volume control but.... I would be into what else I could do with it.

One of these is on its way, probably won't get here until next week, with the holiday season delivery backlog:

I'll try to be patient this time when the "label created" tag is the only update until it arrives at the depot nearby.

Congrats! I traded up my 40 for the Studio a couple months ago. I really like how you I can use bluetooth to stream songs/drum beats from my iPad to play along to, although I have had a few drop outs doing that. Hopefully just a firmware thing.

That #18 Rumble 4x12 preset is one of my favorites along with the #31 Stadium Rig one. It also sounds pretty good with my MXR D.I.+ pedal board through the effects return, but that kind of defeats the whole purpose of this thing, lol...

I messed up by getting a Roland pedal with a TRS plug. Not sure what I was thinking.
The EXP-1 is a digital pedal that uses a TS plug.

The EXP-1 arrived today:

The MGT-4 does feed through the EXP-1, just like I assumed:

The jacks & plugs are just plain old TS connectors, so you can use any cheap instrument cable, which is what I've done here.

I've only used it for Wah so far, but it works great.
It doubles as a Volume pedal, if you click down on the toe-switch.

It's extra configurable in the menu. You can set it to wheel through types, mix, & of course the actual pedal expression variable.
You can also turn off the Volume feature, if you like.

I tried to fight the G.A.S. but, as Locutus would say, "Resistance is futile." Got my Rumble Studio 40 late last week and had a glorious Sunday morning with it on the #9 "Deep Rumble" preset. My 10-year-old 4 button footswitch that I've used with my B-DEC & G-DEC also works with the Studio, and Customer Service is sending a magnetic overlay to update the button labels.

Just got mine and it's great. Love the deep bass mode and the pedal. Really livens up my SG Bass with it's limited tone Hummers. Now I need to study and practice with it.
Congrads!
