I've just ordered a Micromark practice amp, which comes equipped only with a preshape filter (midcut, boost lows and highs). The bass I mostly use tends to require only top cut, and I'm wondering about the feasability/affordability of swapping out the filter for a simple old school passive roll-off.
No need to tell me I should have bought something else - I bought what I bought for several reasons that make sense to me. Obviously I could use an eq pedal in front of the amp, it would just be nice to eliminate that extra piece of gear
