New amp suddenly not working.. ?

So, I just went to practice and I made sure everything was plugged in tight and properly, and when I hit the strings, it was as if my guitar wasn't plugged into my amp, at all. It didn't pick up any of it. Nothing. I just bought both a month ago. I have an Acoustic B20 and a Schechter Stiletto Extreme 4, bass. Any ideas what the problem could be? I'm very sad, right now.

Okay, plugged it into another amp, and the bass works. I guess it's the amp. Any suggestions? I used the same cord when plugging into the other amp, so I guess the cord's fine, too. I just bought this Acoustic amp, and the other amp here isn't mine...

@ Bassman Paul, I was thinking about doing that. The only thing is, I live a good distance from the place I got it, so I was hoping maybe it was something simple, or something I could order and replace.

And, @ fuji: I was thinking that, maybe. A friend of mine turned it all the way up, yesterday, and I've never done that. However, it should've been able to handle it, since my bass wasn't turned all the way up, and it's considerably new. Also, just a few hours ago I turned it on and practiced for a bit and it was working fine. I dunno what to think.

It's mysteriously working again.. and sounds better than it did beforehand. It sounded rather fuzzy, I thought, when I plugged it in, earlier. Nonetheless, I think I'll be bringing it back. I don't want an amp that sometimes works.

1) Refer to the manual
2) Check fuse and power cord
3) Call manufacturer if needed

But don't tell us what make and model of amp it is. That would be cheating. :D

I thought I already did tell you what Make and Model it was... Ehehehe.. i can delete it, though, if you like.
