New Amp...

Well, not new but new to me...

Hey guys, My name is Luey... I'm new to the site...

Just thought I'd share what I picked up today...



A little background:

I picked up my bass after not playing for 5 years last week...

I've played it up a few times here and there for an hour at most...

But, this last week after hanging out during a friends band practice, I started playing again...

So, today I bought a bass amp...

Great tone and pretty loud...

Thanks, I'm surprised at how easy it was to get right back in to it...



About 13 years ago I bought a SWR triad and ran it with an Alembic f-1x pre amp and a Crest Audio power amp and loved the sound... So, when I saw this on craigslist for $250 I knew it was a sign from the bass gods...

i played through that amp for about 2 years and it really served me well.

The Workingman's 15 is a great amp!


I like that you have a guitar hero guitar, in a stand.

I picked up these cheap Walmart guitar stands for the kids...

They have them for their Guitar Hero and Rockband...

Even got them a drum throne and mic stand for Rockband...




Every kid in the neighborhood thinks it's cool...

I turn on the strobe light once in a while for em to...

Thanks, I'm really liking the tone...

This is the first amp I've ever had the owners manual give you settings for different tones... Kinda cool...

The Bart pick-ups and electronics in my bass might be helping the SWR out a little to...
