New Ampeg SVT Pro 4 - need rack case ideas

No idea, but I would advise that any rack you use for it, the amp should be on the bottom, and make sure you put some support under it so the chassis doesn't flex and cause a potential short.

When I was hauling around the boat anchor that was my SVT4 PRO (damn they're heavy, relatively speaking), I used an SKB rack box. They are quite heavy duty, don't add too much to the weight and are relatively inexpensive for what you get. They come in all kinds of different rack space sizes and if I remember correctly, the SVT4 PRO is a full 3 rack spaces all on its own.

Killer amp btw OP but I have a feeling you already know that. ;)

I bought mine used off e bay several years ago and put it in an SKB case like has been mentioned here and other than how heavy it is it sounds fabulous and I will never need a bigger amp ever.

I think I am gassing for a PF-500 though... 500 "Ampeg" watts in about 12lbs? yep. definitely. gassing.
