I just thought I'd say hi. Hi!
I retired from live music about 5 years ago after thousands of gigs from honky tonks, to festivals. The bug is back, and it's time to get back on stage. Going to hit some local jams and get my sea-legs back. I'll see where it goes from there.
I pulled out my old rig. A rack, and 2 4x10's. Time to go shopping. It's too big, and I'm too old. I also used the excuse the cabs don't fit in my new car.
Walked out of the music store with a GK 112 neo cab, a Traynor small block 500,(the whole rig under 40 pounds!!) and a gift to myself, a Ricky 4003s. (Jet glow)
Set up, and restrung my old basses- a Spector Rebop, and a G&L p-bass.
Now I've been playing til my fingers bleed. The chops are all there, but the flow, and groove are rusty. I really need to play with a great drummer a few times, and it will all be back.
Anyway- nice to be here. I'd love to hear from any other women here!

Thanks so much. I've used a few small class d amps before, an Eden, and a Genz Benz. Both approx. 200 watts. I liked the sound of the Traynor a lot, and chose the extra horsepower because of the 8 ohm cab, and less air moving from the single 12. I think I'll be happy.
Yeah, it's all from L&M.

How do I say no to a request for pics? The new rig, with the wrong head, the 500 was backordered, and should be here monday. I've had the Spector for a few years, but bought it during my hiatus, so she's never seen a stage.
I'm going to the local blues jam tomorrow, and looking forward to getting back to it. I could only play by myself for so long.
