New bass day!

I just sent the payment for a 'Squier Mike Dirnt Precision bass' off of the trusty GAS giver, the TB classifieds!

It has Qp's in it, and every thing else is stock.

I plan to put a darkstar in it, and a maple fingerboard fender or squier tele neck. And possibly a elite pbass pup project along with the darkstar.

I am on a Mac laptop and I don't know how to copy and paste so if somebody could tell me how to I'd post pics! So don't you dare say "No pics no bass" and most likely somebody will anyways!



Edit: And of course my friend has just contacted me to inform you that he has dubbed my bass Mike Oxlong, Cause Mike Dirnt is also a Mike. THe name was a prank on the show on 'nitro circus'... just think about it

I was thinking of a mirror pg but it might be a little much with the knob plate (?) But a black pg might do nicely!

take the signature and the star thingy off. That'd be my first mod. I would avoid a mirror PG as they are so cool looking UNTIL somebody's hand gets within a foot of them and then they get covered in fingerprints and kind of look bad. Black on Plack is always good. And as much as everyone seems to like Dark stars, I wouldn't in this project. Thats just me.

Its an awesome bass, i sanded off the star, dropped QP's in it, a badass 2, and a bridge cover. I've used mine for a few shows now and love it to death!

well this is my punk rock bass so the star kinda fits... unless I see it and don't like it, I think I'll keep it.

Well the dark is going to go in the neck position like on a Telecaster bass. I think it would look/sound good, but the PGs for this bass are like only $20 so if I don't like it I'll sell it and get a new pg to cover it up

The grey dob in between the knobs is a sorry excuse for a knob, btw they are all stacked if somebody is going to do a photoshop. A kill switch would be nice too!
