Quick assessment: Actually plays better than my '89. Neck is slightly slicker, prolly a tad thinner by hairs. Plays way nicer than the maple, an '09 BTW. It's playability might have something to do with the stock Ric strings, they're spongier(?) than the Markly Cyro's I usually use. When you 'Motorhead' on it, it lights right up, gives all the 'grr' you'd expect plus some.

One slight flaw, there's an incremental paint run just above and neck-ward of the neck pickup. it's faint but it's there. Gonna hafta dig out the macro lens to show it. First thing I saw when opening the case. Due to the nature of time and space I didn't want to wait and try my luck again. There's so few coming this way as it is, and the guy behind the counter said it'd go in 15 seconds or less if it was shown as available in their system. Of this there is little doubt.....*SIGH*
Mebbe Ric can show me some love on this? I'd settle for an apology Jetglo for instance, just sayin.
Anyway love it no matter what and there's more than just a few stories to tell already......
