New Bass! SRX650

Just Showing her off. Not very partial to the green strings, but I'll be swapping those out soon.
Funny thing is, they sound good. They look neat. But they emit this gnarly green dust. Yuck

The Poly finish is TORN UP on the front of the body. My thread on stickers was about this bass. Sadly, the guy scraped all the stickers off the front of the body in order to take a decent looking picture, to sell the guitar (kind of a crappy thing to do). When I saw it in person, the back and side of the body was COVERED in stickers (which I would have preferred for the front, that way I could have taken them off myself and saved the damage).

I'm going to sand down the poly, do another coat or two and buff it out. It sounds SWEET though. My first set of active pickups on a bass. The Ibanez alnicos are great sounding but I think I'm going to try some EMG's or Bartolini's eventually. Because I'm just THAT kind of guy. :O
