Just ordered the New Bass Whammy, and I was wondering if you have to use the power supply it comes with or if you could use a One Spot to power it? It runs at 9 volts. Thanks.

New Bass Whammy Power Supply

There can be some noise if using non-isolated power. Mine worked fine with the Mooer Micro power supply but there was a bit of hum. Switched to a GigRig power supply with their isolated adapter (recommended for the new BW and V) and it works fine and is dead quiet.
I just use a One Spot and a daisy chain. Maybe its time for me to upgrade.
The older whammys requirred their special adaptor. I think that the reasoning for the change on the new ones, is so that you can use it with common power supplies.
