New bass

I just got a new Yamaha rbx170 is there anything i should do to the bass b4 i play besides tunning it?

I used to have a red Yamaha RBX170 a good 15 years back, it was one of my first that I had ever owned... I loved that bass.. enjoy it!

Check all screws and nuts for tightness. Its fairly common for new out fo box or off the rack basses and guitars to have a one or more loose screws etc.

Adjust action to taste. Adjust pups to taste for best sound to you.

Enjoy yer new bass.
