I've been building mainly guitars but here is my first bass build. Getting electronics and strings today. Using a set of Tesla Corona jazz pickups. Just finished buffing the body yesterday.

Using a set of Tesla Corona jazz pickups.

If those are anything like the Corona B3 I have, you will be very happy.
I'm really surprised that these pickups are not more popular, they really have a great sound, and aren't very expensive. These sound just as good, or better than a lot of much higher priced pickups.

This is a set of B1's and they are great. No noise and I haven't got any type of shielding in the guitar at all.

Here she is all finished. Sounds great, feels nice on a strap. Final setup tomorrow and then I start on its sister ship, matching body but a 6 string guitar with emg's
