Hi there! I played a bit of guitar, but I was mainly a singer. Which means I had a lot of attitude, but not much when it came to theory or musicianship. I was a good front man in my day though. Age is creeping up and I am now 58 and I have always loved the bass. I don’t know what took me so long. I found a great deal on a Fender American Standard P Bass and I absolutely love it. I have tried Stingrays, Jazz Basses, Yamaha (Really nice), Cort, and others, but this particular P Bass speaks to me. I have small hands but somehow I love the chunkier neck. I am currently working towards my basic techniques and learning theory. I am glad to be here.

Thanks man! Absolutely true! I just love the groove. It didn’t matter what style of music I was listening to, Bass always sounded good. Period.
