New computer won't show TalkBass logo etc

Could someone help me please?
I am using a new laptop and it will not show logo or previews of postings when I move the curser over the title.
Someone helped me fix my last new laptop...But that was a few years ago.
Thank you so much....Help!!!

Chrome keeps displaying a message warning all users to delete javascript so I dunno....

I deleted the javascript after I read this...as it wasn't making any difference

I might have got confused because when I am signed out the banner shows
so I think my excitement was because I was signed out
and once I signed in it went back to text banner and no previews

Hmm... Are you thinking of Flash? Javascript is recommended:

I stand corrected. Flash is history sometime in the near future as it's being replaced by HTML5 I believe. But I may be spreading rumors on that LOL.
I do know that when I do Windows 10 installs at work, there is no sign of Java anywhere in the apps list... so I guess I should look more into this..... In Windows 7 Java has been updating like crazy lately, must have been a security breach we don't know about....

Can you post a screenshot? I'm not sure what you mean by the banner?

Your browser might be set to disable automatic loading of images.

There may be a similar setting to disable logos, avatars, etc. It could be a security setting related as well.

I'm no expert but I belive you need to go into your keypads settings and find the box to check that says something like 'show preview when pointer hovers.'

Really have no idea why you're not able to see the logo unless there is a box checked in there that says something like 'show all letters in plain text' or something like that.

Does that 2nd one only happen on TB, or other sites too? Cuz I assumed most logos are some kind of image file, not text.

Must be a Windows thing. My new Mac just works!! LOL
