Shameless plug

We're pretty excited about our new EP and thought I'd share a sample

I have to admit that it was a great experience getting back in the studio and recording. I think it helps in bringing a band together in a lot of ways.

Here's a sample.....FWIW, its Hardcore Punk, so if your not into that kind of music, its probably not for you.....otherwise I hope you enjoy :)

I've got a friend who still pumps out hardcore punk in his 70's. I remember seeing his band when I was a teenager. It's pretty cool that he's still at it, all of his bandmates are in their 30's, and he's kind of their hero.

Thanks......yeah, we are all in our 50's. I gotta say, doing this type of music again really kind of makes you feel like a kid.....Fun, Fun!!

Nice job! I haven't listened to any hardcore in 25-30 years, took me back a little. The drums sound great on the recording, that snare is banging!

Man.... I’ve listened to almost both BUT hardcore for the last 30+ years.

@Helix this is good stuff. It reminds me of something, but I can’t put a finger on it. Dr. Know, maybe?

Oh yeah.....there's a lot of older guy's in bands here in SoCal that are still doing this stuff. We played with a band a few months ago that were close to their 70's, and have been at it for close to 35 years......I love seeing the older guys get up there and rock the house!!…...you're only as old as you think you are ;)

Thanks Man!....Our guitar player who wrote most of the EP was really into RKL (Rick Kids on LSD) back in the day.....so maybe he was influenced by them???

It definitely has a Mystic Records vibe to it. I’ve been writing a ton of similar material, but finding the right drummer for this stuff isn’t easy. Congratulations on the EP!

Thank you again Bolophonic!…….and yes, the drummer is a big part of making it. I know ours get one heck of a workout when we play.....it's tough to find the right guy

I like it. I wanna mosh!

I was in a hardcore punk band from 2010-2012 and it was an amazing experience for me. I was coming out of a really bad time in my life, and punk kinda saved me.

It's funny, back in 2016 I was hanging out with our old frontman (we broke up the band in 2012 after he went to grad school) and he was saying, "I'm getting old, man. I'm 32 and I'm feeling my age." And then I smirked at him and said, "Bro, I was 32 when we started that band!"

Im kind of in the same boat......I became single again about 3 years ago. I was honestly a little lost.

I started playing with a Psychobilly Band, it was more Punk then anything else. After that this band came along, and I got to say, punk has really brought a lot fun and enjoyment in my life.

I love the scene and the people involved....Its really a lot of fun!!
