I heard their latest breakthrough is to reverse the process...the outer wrap is the core and the hex wire is the outer wrap now so I don't think they will be smoother.

Well, I guess Scott won't be the only one wearing gloves.

Last year they said that Cobalts were the most spectacular strings ever created. So I guess that is no longer true?

Curious, can you expand on this? Never used Cobalt's but curious as to the attraction or difference.
