Interesting that they do the routing on jazz basses now. Is that new? My ‘93 MIJ does not have it.

All MIM Jazz basses are routed that way, at least in the last decade.

Beautiful color silver!! I have the same Blue Burst Jazz, BTW!!

Nice looking bass, I’ve just dropped on a Player Plus P Bass as well but in Sunburst, very pleased with it so far. My only gripes are that the Fender Himass bridge has no lateral adjustment on it and I could have done with moving the saddles over slightly so that the pole pieces align correctly. My other dislike is the raised and glossy lettering on the headstock, looks really naff.

Just need to drop in a couple of new batteries as I don’t know how long they’ve been in there and then it’s all set for its first outing on Saturday!
