New Five String Bass

Ive played on a fender squire p-bass for two years and now ive decided i need a new axe to play on. any suggestions? i play metallica and blue oyster cult kinda stuff and metal and my p-bass isnt giving me the sound i want. my price range is 400-800 bucks any suggestions would really help me choose

You have a budget, so all you need to do next is take your money to a guitar store, play everything they have in your range, and buy the bass you like best.

ok thanks for advice i live near a guitarcenter so ill take a trip up there and check out their basses
