Hi guys hope this finds you well. I just want you all to know I'm doing a free mini course on YouTube on Chord Tones and Tensions. It will be a series of 7 Lessons. We are now up to Lesson 4.

These lessons are so helpful to your development and are often overlooked. They are great for developing your Technique, Fingerboard Awareness, Harmony, Vocabulary and Ear Training.
There are mp3's and documents to download for each of the lessons and they get progressively more challenging as they go on.

Please post questions in here if you want to chat about anything you see. Thanks so much. All the best. Tony

Ok, I'm only through the 1st video and I feel like I could spend a week getting these under my fingers in all 12 keys.

If this is ANYTHING like what the bass academy is like, I should probably sign up and lock myself in a rehearsal room til next January. Methodical, clearly communicated, thanks so much Tony!

Hi there...thanks for your comment. The Academy is a systematic course on how to play and improvise creatively. There are lessons and courses in there to get you started at any level with some concepts to apply instantly :)

Thanks Tony! That's fantastic, woodshedding material to keep me busy for awhile. I just picked up your Bass Academy book, and there's lots to learn from in there too. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, it makes the world a better place. :)
