New Gibson bass day!

A great locally owned Tampa brick and mortar guitar store is shutting down Saturday, after 10 years in business. Same story, lease expiring and can’t find affordable replacement space. I dropped in today to say goodbye to some of the staff I know as well as the owner. But I also walked out with this gorgeous SG bass, at 25% off list. My 3rd fretted instrument purchase from them. I’m happy!

Bummer, my local mom and pop, which I could literally walk to, decided to retire a year ago and I didn’t know about it until all the good stuff was gone. I bought three basses from them as well as strings etc, so I did my part. I was just thinking last night that had they still been in business I would have inquired about an electronic drum set from them.

Sad to hear of the store closing, I remember a few of those mom and pop stores thru the years.
